Israel is now doing what the USA should have done in 1979 when the revolutionaries invaded the US embassy in Tehran and took American diplomats hostage. Iran has been the instigator of terror in the Middle East now fir 46 years, inciting violence, paying proxies to promote terror, calling for death to Israel and death to America, with only namby pamby diplomatic efforts at seeking a negotiated resolution.
A negotiated settlement was never a realistic outcome. The Mullahs in Iran hate western civilization only slightly less than they hate Israel and Jews.
I was a University student in England when the embassy was invaded in 1979 and had many Iranian friends. Most never returned out of fear. Friends who have escaped and achieved US citizenship recount the oppression, fear, subjugation and certainty, that if they’d stayed, they would have been executed.
Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. Love him or loathe him, Bibi Netanyahu is the savior of z Israel with his devotion to preserving Israel’s statehood, secure borders, and the ability to survive in a world that is still filled with anti semitism.
Anyone who refuses to support Israel at this juncture is no better than those perpetrators of the Holocaust. Haters. Small minded. Indoctrinated. Confused. Uneducated. Mind washed. Simpleton. Racist. Communists.
